Overview

TessDrive is a standalone Android streaming appliance designed specifically for Tesla vehicles. This documentation covers setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and advanced usage.

System Requirements

• Tesla with browser support
• TessDrive hardware unit
• Wi‑Fi connectivity

Network Architecture

TessDrive creates a private Wi‑Fi network that your Tesla joins. Video is streamed using a low‑latency H.264 pipeline optimized for the Tesla browser.

Touch Input

Touch events from the Tesla browser are routed back to TessDrive and injected directly into the Android virtual display.
